Rancho Viejo Stables

Rancho Viejo is about two minutes away from the Alpine exit off of the 280 freeway.  We share the driveway to the Portola Valley Training Center.  It takes about five minutes to get to the southeast corner of the Stanford University campus. The facility is private, not public, so please don’t just “drop by.” We prefer that you call to arrange an appointment to see the place.

Take 280 to the Alpine Rd exit.  Go east onto Alpine Rd.  Just past the fruit stand (on the left) there will be a left hand turn lane.  Turn left into the driveway and then make another immediate left.  Follow the road alongside the Portola Valley Training Center.  It will take you under the overpass and Rancho Viejo will be on your left.  THERE IS A 10 MPH SPEED LIMIT AT ALL TIMES ONCE LEAVING ALPINE ROAD.  We maintain this rule for the safety of all our riders and their animals.  It will be strictly enforced.
